Testimonials

I know you're probably always looking for feedback on your grips. I can sum up my responce in two words, "they're great".

-- Thank you, Robert Philips (from Yuma, AZ., where we can play golf 365 days a year)

This is the end of my first season with Enlow grips on my clubs. I am only 56 years old but I have arthritic hands especial basilar joint arthritis in my left thumb. Last year I had a hard time finishing nine hole and could never go 18 because of the pain. The lack of golf effected my game. This year I was getting at least 27 holes per week and up to 45 holes per week. Thank you Mr. Enlow for your grips. Your are bringing my golf game back.

-- Chris H.

Best grips I ever tried! I'm 84 and have arthritis in my knuckle's and the Enlow grips allow me to hold the club. My average went down 5 points and still improving. Thank you!

-- Henry R.

This is the first oversized grip that accommodates the arthritic fingers in my right hand, but is not impossibly large in my left. I'm hitting the ball like I did 20 years ago when I was a 4-handicap. Much preferable to the 14-handicap 60 year-old I plan to never be again. I'll be a frequent customer.

-- Greg Fifer

Dear Mr Enlow, talked to you at Cleveland Golf Show and you planted a seed in the back of my mind. Built a set of Pinhawk SL irons 4-LW. 37.5 inches with FST Pro 115's tipped at X flex. I was apprehensive about the 140g weight and the dynamics on trajectory and feel. To my surprise trajectory was increased and feel was incredible. I also installed grips on my Titleist 913 Driver, 910 3 Wood and 913 Hybrid. All with increased trajectory and carry effects. Entire set is also spine aligned and floed. First time out carded a 76 and hit my Driver straight and long. I will be in the 60's this summer after I finish shoulder rehab. Love the grips! Sold a set after a golf buddy hit my 7 iron 2 weeks ago to 4 ft. Will proudly blaze the logo if you have any hats available. Thanks again for planting that "seed"!

-- Jim Penland

I have been practicing and teaching myself your single plane technique for over a year from online videos and the new book. I am ecstatic with with consistency and most importantly with the ease of my shoulder back and elbow discomfort. I have found a great addition to my equipment that is taking the swing to even a better level consistent with your recommendation of a flatter more neutral left hand grip. The ENLOW grip. My club fitter introduced it to me this winter and fitted one of my ADAMS A12os irons with it to try. It is outstanding compliment to the single plane swing and grip stance.

I noticed in you club fitting section you advise differential tape wrapping to build up the grip. This ENLOW tapered design does exactly that . I would be interested in you analysis of this. Thanks again for re engineering my game at 68. Can't wait for the season to start.

-- Dr Rick Smialek

We want to know what you think about our grips. If you have a testimonial that you would like to share, please send it to us and we'll post it here on our testimonials page.

I injured both of my elbows due to golf overuse (and playing with too tight of a grip) and had to take a year off from playing. Because Enlow Grips don't allow me to grip too tightly on the club I am now finally able to play again without any threat of re-injury. I put them on every one of clubs and if I hadn't, there is no way I could be playing golf now. For anybody that has elbow issues I you must get these grips -they have truly been a life-saver (golf is life after all) for me.
-- Kerry

I purchased Enlow Grips at the Madison WI golf show. I am a happy camper. I have Arthritis in my hands and had so called "arthritic" grips on my clubs. I am now used to the feel of the Enlow Grips, WOW! I am 67 yoa and put three drives out to 300 yds last Tuesday. Straigt down the fairway. Pitching wedge 125/130 yds straight as an arrow. My 30 year old nephew and brother were amazed. My golf partner recently had hand surgery and got clearance from the surgeon to start swinging his clubs. He went to the driving range yesterday. He said he wonders how long he would have had to play without the Enlow Grips. Guys, Gals do yourself a favor, find an Enlow Grip dealer and get them on your clubs. Do not waste any more time with the skinny grips.
-- Michael

I have purchased these grips for three full sets of clubs. They performed as described. I definitely have a better feel for where my hands are and the position of the club head. They are just the right firmness they are not fat putter grips that are spongy. In fact if there is one club you should put it on; it's the Putter. the reversed tape really helps to putt without tension in the grip. They may get some remarks from your friends, but after they swing your club they will convert at a high rate to them. The "surge" also recommends them and I'm a Surgite.
-- Michael Harris

Just wanted to thank you guys for getting me back on the golf course after 2 years in the wilderness. I have lost the use of three fingers in my left hand and after checking out your grips I now have to hold the club in a baseball style in my left palm with some velcro tabs to hold it firm. Works pretty well and I'm getting back to hitting the ball reasonably. Great concept. Very grateful.
-- Anonymous

I can't say enough good things about your grips. It's been a few months that I've been using them, and my scores just keep getting lower.Putting the grip on my putter was one of the best moves,it steadied my putting swing.Friends are very curious about the grips.I'm sure they'll come around. Thanks,
-- Jon Quinley

Mr. Enlow, Thanks for the response. My control off the tee was unreal with the new grip. I have a great tendency to rip a nice slice off the tee and on Sunday I found myself not turning my wrist and was able to keep the drive centered. Thanks again for the great product.
-- Erich

Comments: Wow ! That's all I have to say about your grips. I put them on all my clubs in February and only got to use them today and the results were outstanding. No pain whatsoever, and there was absolutely no learning curve involved, other than added 10 to 15 yards distance on my irons. As for my first round with the grips, I made two birdies, an eagle and a bunch of pars. Would have shot one under if it weren't for a double on the last hole. These grips seem so natural, and makes you wonder if this is how grips were intended to be designed. Chalk me up as a very satisfied customer. I'll preach the good word on these grips to everyone I know!
-- Paul D'Andrea

We met at the golf merchandise show in St. Louis a while back. We talked for about half an hour about your grips and GenosTV of which I am a partner. I wanted to let you know that I put the two grips I bought on my driver and a 56 degree wedge. I played 3 rounds last week on vacation in St. Augustine. In my second and third rounds, I hit EVERY fairway! No slices and no duck-hooks (my usual problem). I could work the ball right to left with ease. But the beauty was...swing hard and watch the ball go straight.
-- Thanks again, Greg

Grips fitted and played first round 16 shots better than three days ago- I am pleased with the grips and find they give me better control - straighter and little fade- HOWEVER there is a side issue - have a 10 inch Pro bag with a Greg Norman club rack - the larger grips create a situation with the clubs are jamming in the bottom of the bag. Pro recommended getting a bag with 14 holes with individual dividers - tried everything available in New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand - only two alternative sales options with all the popular brands. Have you come across this before and if so can you suggest any cart bags ( I have a Club Car ) that I can source - I was most impressed with the delivery - ordered on 28th December and arrived here 5th January - absolutely first class.
-- Thanks Bob

Before the new Enlow grips I was lucky to shoot in the low 80's. Now i'm shooting in the 70's almost every time out. My lowest round was 74 a few days ago. I'm hitting longer and strighter shots with more control. The fell around the greens is also great. Thanks again and I'm telling every one I know about these great grips. Thanks so much!

I want to say thanks to Enlow Grips. I'm a senior female golfer living and playing golf at the Villages in Florida. Earlier this year I had surgery on my right hand. I noticed after the healing period my golf game was not the same. My drives were shorter and my iron play was not crisp. I consulted my physician and she told me that I would have difficulty with my right hand as long as I continued golfing. I was playing at least twice per week in a ladies league and I was disappointed that I would have to give up golf. I noticed another lady (a little bit older then me) playing really good golf and I also noticed she was playing with really pretty golf grips. She told me that she also had a problem in the past and she switched to a new set of Enlow Grips and was able to enjoy playing again. I ordered a set of Enlow Grips. My new grips not only look great but they have helped me get my game back to normal. When I went back to my physician for a checkup on my hand, I told her I was playing golf again with my new grips. She said keep it up as I see no stress in your right hand.
-- Thanks again, Gail G. The Villages of Florida

My father has bad arthritis in his hands and he almost had to give up golfing. He loves the sport and it has been his favorite thing to do since he has retired. I didn't want to see him give up the sport so I did some research on how to help him. I came across Enlow grips and I figured I'd give it a try. My dad was so impressed with the new grips that he called me from the golf course to tell me how much they helped him. I'm so glad he can now do what he enjoys without aching stiff hands.
-- Michelle

I was fortunate enough to meet at the golf Expo in Boston in February. I bought the 10 grips with a smile. Your demo made sense. For the record, I'm an antiquariaan and I am estatic with my progress so far this season. As the elder statesman in our group, my key is consistency, plus, I'm hitting them better, and straighter everytime. Thanks for designing a dynamic product that makes sense. I'm enjoying golf more alreasdy than I did all last year.
-- Gerry Martel

I met Brad in Pittsburgh at the Golf Show and his Grips enticed me because I always used oversize grips, but this grip has made a tremendous difference in my game. I went from a 12 handicap at my club to a 7 and there isn't a club I own that doesn't have an Enlow Grip on it. I can't even think about holding a golf club unless it has an Enlow Grip on it. The best Golf decision I ever made! If you don't have your hands around an Enlow Grip, you're not playing your best golf! Thanks Brad!
Tony Santorella -- Mt. Pleasant, PA

Thank you so much for the grips. I had to have one-third of my big toe removed. The grips have helped with my swing change. The help with my balance in the swing. I've only been able to play six or seven rounds with the grips. The average score for seven rounds has been 86. I am looking forward to better scores with the Enlow Grips.
Rusty Goodsell -- Tulsa, OK

Hello,
I bought a set of grips at the golf fest in san diego. You asked me to give you feed back. I love them! They definitely increase my swing speed and add stability. Last week I had 5 birdies in a round for the first time in my life.
-- Bill Daumen

Brad,
What can I say? At the Anaheim Golf Expo you told me to put the grips on my wedges and I would see an immediate results in my short game and you, my friend, were not wrong. After only one practice session I was so impressed with the results that I put them on all of my clubs. A friend of mine was so impressed that he put them on his clubs the day before the pre-qualifier for the Mitsubishi Open tournament. Now that they have seen the improvement in my game two other members are going to use them. It is definitely having that snowball effect and all I can say is that I'm glad I'm one of the first to have them. Thank you so much for challenging me to improve my game.
-- George Boyer

Brad,
I have been using your grips on all my clubs, and am pleased with the results , in fact I am in the finals of our club match play tournament. I did however try one of your big boys on my driver and used it for about a month and had to cut it off, couldnt get used to it and hit my driver much better with the reglar enlow grip.
-- Joe Visocsky

Brad,
I have about 24 or so rounds in and have enjoyed the new grips. I have seen a one club improvement in length. What was a 5 iron is now a 6 or was an 8 now a 9. The only thing I need to tweek is that draw and I think it's still a matter of my alignment somewhat. I'll keep plugging away.

Thanks,
Marc Konny

PS: With the new grips our 4-some won the Cadillac Invitational at the Elgin Country Club (June 22) making us eligable to play in the national 4-some scramble at the TPC in Fla in January. How cool is that?!?

I purchased 2 enlow grips recently and I must say that I am most impressed with the improvement of my drives. I play with some guys who have out drove me by as much as 30 yards, but with the Enlow Grips on my driver, I have hit as far and often passed these guys and I am thrilled. I will be adding enlow grips throughout my set. Thanks for a great product!

John Dickie

Dear Brad,

It's been a year since putting your grips to use and I had written you at that time to inform you that even on the first tournament out, things were going well. Now, just a little over a year of having them on all my clubs, I captured the Nebraska Senior Championship this past Thursday/Friday at Norfolk Country Club, NE. Much thanks for a great product!

Regards,
Bill Lawson

I purchased one of your grips at the golf show in Pittsburgh last weekend and put it on my putter. It makes the ball roll instead of bounce off the club head. I got a lot of great comments on the practice green and had a lot of people try my putter with a lot of great feedback. Maybe you can get a dealer in the Pittsburgh area ... I think the grips would be a big seller. Thanks for the great product. I will definately order more online in the future if you don't get a dealer in the Pittsburgh area.

Denny C.

Dear Brad,

Your grips have let me start this season with mid-season form. My usual game is in the 90's -- several times I slipped into the low 100's and occasionally I have gotten into 80's with my best being 86.

We went on our spring golf trip:
Bill and Dick are always 10 strokes better than me.
I have never beaten or come close to beating either Bill or Dick.
Chuck and I are about the same.

Our spring golf trip:
We played 6 rounds: one round was a team game the other five rounds individual scores. Of the five rounds I had 3 rounds of: 97, 96, 94. I also had two rounds of 87 and 89.

These scores are good for me and I'm very satisfied:

But more satisfied with my personal golf facts that your grips have given me:
All clubs seem to be going 10 yards further.
All clubs especially the driver are straighter. On the golf trip I only lost two balls. Both balls I hit straight, just too long into the water.
First time I beat both Dick and Bill
I am now 8 to 10 strokes better than Chuck.

At the end of four days of golf and six rounds, while the others were taking pills and taping their hands, my hands were as fresh as the first round.

I will email you again when I beat Tom K., my other golf buddy/foe who I've never beaten. He's 12 strokes better than me, but this summer he's going down.

Tom L.

Dear Brad,

Following our chance rendezvous in St. Louis last week --- a gift from the golf gods, presumably - and your gracious extension of credit for product, I am enclosing a check for the grips. Thank you again for the courtesy.

I know have your grips applied to my irons and woods. Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to the driving range. That one trip to the range was as encouraging as any range session or round of golf that I have played. Keep in mind that this was the first time I had swung a club since last fall. After working out several tweaks (and kinks) I found a pretty comfortable groove and was consistently hitting solid shots. Recalling your suggestion to go halfway on my backswing and follow through I felt good. Truth be told, I disregarded your advice when I pulled out my driver, though. I had to swing away! But even this quasi-Neanderthal approach was successful. I consistently hit good tee shots (for me, anyway) that all had good air with a slight fade from left to right. In short, I'm thrilled with the results so far! Ho-hum Brad, another testimonial…

I have never been a big hitter. My game is about keeping the ball in play and trying to stay out of trouble. As a result, birdies are pretty rare, pars scarce and bogies generally the norm. And I'm fine with that. Like we discussed, it's about having fun, a few malt beverages and some fresh air.

You realize, of course, that your grips are going to add a new level of pressure to my life. Golfers who previously couldn't have cared less about me or my golf game will now be watching my swing, asking questions, wanting information and will be seeking the truth of the "golf grail" I have found. I can only hope I will be up to the challenge.

Thank you again for meeting for lunch last week. The coincidence of your itinerary and my phone call made for a good story. I will keep you posted on anything noteworthy.

Best Regards

Hi Brad, I just had to write to tell you how much I love my new Enlow grips. I have tried so many other grips but they did not give me the control and feel that yours do. There was zero acclimation time with them. I put them on and instantly they just felt right…felt GREAT! I noticed that there is an added benefit to these grips; “Counter Balancing”. If you don’t know what it is, just Google it and find out how it helps your swing speed, ball flight and control. It also cost a lot of money to have it done, or you can do it yourself for about $100.00. Well, with your grips there is no need to spend that extra money because it is built into your grips…did I mention how much I love these grips!

I swing with a single plane swing (Symple Swing) and I highly recommend these grips for this method although the method does not require different clubs or grips, I must admit that your grips help with my hand position.

Thanks again for making the best grip in the world!

Mike Sposato - Elgin, IL

So I have been using all-Enlow grips for the past three months. Instead of scoring mostly in the 90's with a few in the 80's, most of my scores are in the 80's with only a very infrequent score above 90. The only other change I have made besides the grips is that I am taking less of a backswing to gain better control of my club through the ball striking zone. Most of my shots are in or near the fairway. Right now I am in love with my golf game and hope it continues to slowly improve.

Thanks,
Tom Fowles

I wrote about a month or so ago telling you about how I found your grip in a friend's golf shop and expanded the grips to all my clubs. Now after putting in practice and adjusting my poor grip to a better grip due to the Enlow grips I entered my first senior tournament in Beatrice NE last week and won with ease. I played in the event last year and struggled, due to not knowing where the shot was going and lost of confidence in my overall shot making, which haunted me for most of last year. On the first tee my playing partners hit their drivers and I used my 2I hybrid and striped it down the middle to start my day, it was 2 rounds of golf that didn't feel like a tournament, as no matter what club I pulled from my bag, it was easy to swing and spot on with accuracy. I have the Nebraska Senior coming up at the end of the month and I am gearing up for that. My overall goal is to get my handicap back down to that 1-2 area. I feel I'm on track!

Much thanks for a great game improvement product that works.

Hi,
I'm a professional golfer of 21 years and a current member of the European Tour and a member of the British P.G.A. I have been using 2 of our grips for the last 6 months or so and have really enjoyed using them. I bought them at the Trade show in Orlando in January and was interested in getting some more. Do you have dealers in the U.K. that I can order from?

Many Thanks,

Paul Affleck

Sir:
Two and a half years ago I gave up golf because of arthritis in my hands which would not permit me to close my fingers to make a fist.

My club pro has tried many different ways to enlarge my golf grips, but with no success. Then he found Enlow Grips at a Florida trade show this past winter.

I have fount these grips to be just what the doctor ordered. These grips are softer, very comfortable, and reduce the shock to my hands from ground contact. Next day stiffness and pain are reduced appreciably.

I am excited again to get back to the game, even at the age of 78.

Sincerely,

Walter S. Nied

Being 6'4 with long arms, control off the tee box has always been a concern. I ran into one of your grips over the weekend and convinced its owner to let me use them in a tourney yesterday. I am proud to state not only was I the long drive winner but I was consistently straight which is what matters most. It has rejuvenated my game and has made it fun again. Thank You! -- Jon Loeb

Recently I received the "Stagg Hill Golf Club 2006 Men's 18 Most Improved" award. I attribute a great deal of my improvement to Enlow Grips and think they are the best grips a golfer can use.

I am retired and play golf 2-3 times a week. However, golfing is not always easy for me due to hand injuries and arthritis. I have using Enlow Grips since they first came out (about three years ago) and they have allowed me to improve my game and made it more fun.

I have tried using other kinds of grips even while using Enlow Grips: Whenever I bought new clubs I would use them first with the originally installed grips. I was curious to find out if my improved game was due to my own skill or the kind of grips I used. I learned that Enlow Grips deserve the credit for my improvement.

It is my opinion; the Enlow Grips are the best thing happening to the game of golf in general and to me personally as a golfer.

Also, Enlow Grips are durable: I'm still using the same ones I put on my clubs three years ago. In addition to the black, Enlow Grips now feature new colors!

I recommend Enlow Grips to everyone who wants to improve their golf and enjoyment of the game.

Sincerely, Bob Hartenstein

I have enjoyed using your Enlow Grips for the past 5-6 months. I have them on every club I own. I bought 3 more today, just to keep them for future clubs. I let virtually everyone I play with try them out and several have bought them also. Keep up the good work! -- Dan Burks

I have been using Enlow Grips on my clubs for several months and feel they have definitely been a help to me. I would not like to ever have to return to using standard grips. Keep up the good work! I hope this product will be available for a long time!! -- Ray Atkins
